About us
LedPlayMeter is a browser-based player and playlist manager for the LED advertising boards that run around a pitch, court, track or ring. It is built and maintained by NGF SOFT.
What we make
LedPlayMeter turns an ordinary Windows PC into the content brain of a perimeter LED installation. Operators upload videos and images, arrange them into playlists and scenes, and the software renders one synchronised, full-width output that goes to the LED processor driving the panels.
The whole interface runs in a browser, so the operator can sit at the desk, at the pitch side with a tablet, or on a phone as a remote control — while the machine that actually renders the output stays untouched in the rack.
Why we built it
Perimeter LED panels are usually sold with control software written for the panel hardware, not for the person running a match. Building a sponsor rotation, proving that a sponsor really got their contracted number of plays, or dropping a goal animation into the middle of a loop is often awkward or impossible.
We approached the problem from the operations side instead: sponsor quotas and pacing, proof-of-play logs, match-day scenes triggered in one click, dayparting, redundancy with a backup PC that mirrors the primary. The hardware is whatever you already own.
How we work
The software is hardware-agnostic. You describe the geometry of your perimeter — module size, pixel pitch, how the boards wrap — and LedPlayMeter fits content to it. There is no dependency on a specific panel vendor or processor brand.
It runs offline. Once installed, a match does not need an internet connection; licensing, media and playback all work on the local machine. We think software that goes dark when the venue Wi-Fi does is not fit for live sport.
